QB Antonio Henton (transfer to Ga. Southern and FT. Valley St.)

Call me crazy, but for some reason I don't see JT putting in a redshirt freshman, backup QB who was suspended for about half the season. He missed a lot of reps during that time frame. Of course the 50+ day layoff gave him plenty of time to prepare. I think this is just a ploy to give LSU something to think about.

I would of liked to see him get a few more meaningful snaps durring the year. This game is no time to throw a stupid INT like he did in the scarlet/grey game.

Hopefully TB comes out like he did early in the season but if not it would be nice to get a boost from AH.

Thats logical, however, with Rob to TE and Henton as the backup...you have to imagine they're ready for him to step in at any moment.

I don't know that he missed many reps. He was with the team and practicing.

I would LOVE to see Henton get some snaps in this game, I just have a good feeling about it. How about his first or second play being the option pass out of the SG Spread? Troy was great at selling that, and then hitting Teddy on the backside deep post.

I really, really hope Henton doesn't transfer. After Schoenhoft's transfer and Boeckman's fate-season dropoff, he has to be optimistic about his chances at grabbing the starting spot this season...and if anyone starts mentioning Pryor having a real shot at being a starter as a true freshman, forget about it.

Um... was that a mistake? 'f' is pretty far away from 'l' on the keyboard... :)

Henton would be a fool to leave. It's his team if we don't get Pryor in a year for sure. His situation couldn't of been handled any better do to the stigma that comes with the offense. He saw what happen to Troy with his issues and how it all worked out. If we get Pryor though you can throw everything out the window. I don't think we'll let Pryor sit on the bench for two years being Bucknuts and all.:gobucks3::gobucks4:
