I tell ya, I still like this kid. He works hard, is willing to play any position and do whatever it takes for his team and he has a good feel for for the game. He'd be a good hardnosed blue collar player that could open some great holes as a blocking FB or he could be a good one as a Tim Anderson type defensive lineman. Plus he loves the Buckeyes ... can't beat that.

Phillips' 2004 11 game (final) stats: 176 total tackles, 34 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 6 forced(caused) fumbles, 1 interception, 3 fumble recoveries w/ 1 for TD, blocked 2 extra points, blocked 3 punts, kicked 14 extra points, kicked off, punted first 2 games, and snapped for punts the last 9 games. Ended high school career with 521 tackles and 80 tackles for loss.
