'06 GA RB Carlos Brown (Michigan signee)

I read somewhere (maybe it was the Dispatch) that Brown wants to be a pilot, and we all know OSU has one of the top ROTC programs around. I can't say that I can comment on the other programs on how good their ROTC programs are.
He mentions that in the article as well.

Just a warning sign for anyone getting excited over Brown: when the words "playing time" come into the equation, just remember that is about the only thing we are not going to be able to offer a 2nd RB in this class. Think about it, we have 3 now, 2 if Haw doesn't get his head out of his ass. Then if we throw Russell (please, no more Anderson, folks, it gets confusing) in the mix, someone will have to step up this year and be the man. Chris Wells arrives soon thereafter and immediately moves up the depth chart. If a stud '06 RB from the south thinks that he will come here to compete for a job then: 1) he better be an absolute stud, 2) our running game will have to resemble melted ice cream this season, and 3) his test scores won't quite get him into the school. Not a jab at intelligence, but even though tOSU staff wants 2 RB's, we better count on getting a decent one late in the game as opposed to another bad-ass. I know competition shouldn't scare away talent, but this is kind of a different situation when playing time has been stated as a drawing factor. Ideally, we are looking at CWells, MWells, Pittman, Haw, Russell/Lenix/new guy when 06 actually gets here. Nice knowin ya Carlos, see you in the bowl game.
