'06 OH OL/DT Aaron Brown (Virginia Tech Signee)

We spent too much attention to the game and not to him...
Excuse me, but the coaches' first priority is to prepare for and try to win the game, not to kiss up to a recruit. Besides, if you review this thread, you'll see that many speculated as early as July that Aaron was not going to Ohio State. I doubt that the red carpet treatment on September 10th would have changed the situation much.

EDIT: And, if I remember correctly, you were one of the most vociferous bashers after the Texas defeat, claiming that Tressel blew the game, that he should be fired, etc. If you insist on being both strident and simplistic, then at least try to be consistent.

That's what I don't understand. The family would have to understand this for such a big game. There has to be something else to this.
Maybe tOSU cooled...

I dont think it is, he said it himself that he was upset that we didn't pay that much attention to him...
Why would the staff take any time away from the biggest non-conference game in years to cater to a single recruit?

One recruit is not bigger than the program...never will be.

I am betting my vcash that Grad is 100% spot on. I think we got tired of the BS and Aaron might not have been playing all that well in the early season (or even dating back to camp). Not saying that we pulled the offer, just we cooled enough to have George get his shorts a bit twisted.
