'07 AR RB Broderick Green (USC signee, Arkansas transfer)

Scout $

11/30

By Jamie Newberg... USC is still the team to beat for Broderick, but he is open to looking around. Schools he is looking to visit are tOSU, Penn St., Tennessee, and Boston College. He is also considering Arkansas.

He has some nice things to say about tOSU...

SC has a TON of young freshmen backs. We have one. That could be the difference...we'll see.

Then again, our one is amazing while their 4 are all IMHO pretty good. It's Beanie's job to lose for a couple of years (if Pitt indeed leaves). SC's RB job could still be open by spring next year. Who knows.

could this be a situation in which pittman declaring early really helps osu's chances?

you would have to think the notion of possibly being the #2 back as a freshman is appealing.

It probably wouldn't hurt...

I've heard from numerous places that staff really wants another back in this class and is working hard to land one...

Why would any smart kid still go there if you see how many young RBs they have?
You could end up playing tightend!

To be fair, some of their young backs can easily slide to other positions... There are some that feel Marc Tyler becomes a LB, Stafon Johnson a S, and Allen Bradford a LB as well (although Bradford is playing FB right now)...

By BK... Broderick says that he will likely visit tOSU in January (possibly the 12th). He might visit USC this weekend. He also would like to visit Penn St. He has been in regular contact with tOSU's staff.

This one is picking up some steam...

I got the chance to watch him in his state championship game. He's very athletic... was affective both running and catching the ball in the backfield. He ended up getting the MVP even though his team lost. He'd be a great grab for tOSU.
