'08 OH QB Domonick Britt (Jackson St. signee, transfer to Urbana)

Rumor on a scUM board, via scout (blocked here at work) is that Britt is in Ann Arbor this weekend. If true, RR sure is feeling out a lot of QB's.
About time. I was wondering when DickRod would figure out about Britt, especially with Moore there and Shaw taking a visit.

It already hurt that one of my Rams committed to UM but if Britt gets an offer that is gonna suck. I really thought one of the Twood boys this year would get an offer from OSU, maybe Freeman will get one. I'll pull for these guys to do their thing for 11 games I guess if Britt and anybody else makes it.:osu:

Once again I hope he gets to go a decent school. If its Um, then I hope he gives them the same success they had in '06 minus the bowl game maybe. That kinda of hurt to say, but he's a Ram so the best to him.:gobucks3::gobucks4:

any ideas as to why Britt would have turned down a scholly to TSUN (where 3 of his teammates were going) for Jackson St.? Weird
Perhaps the timing of the offer played into it... wanting to be somewhere he was wanted. Just a guess.

Maybe he spoke with this guy?

DB: "Coach Tiller, I have an offer from Michigan."

Coach: "Son why would you want to play for a wizard hat wearing snake oil salesman?"

Britt's potential gets high marks

Greg Powers, midwest recruiting manager for Scout.com, has been watching Ohio high school football power Trotwood-Madison for years. The school had 10 players sign letters of intent to play collegiate football on Wednesday.

Powers was asked to evaluate the skill set of Jackson State signee Dominick Britt.

"He's a big, rangy kid who's just now starting to come into his own potential," Powers said. "He's just now starting to learn the quarterback position more and more. As he develops and gets older and has a greater understanding of being a leader on the field and running an offense, he's just going to get better and better.

"He's a guy that's able to make big plays happen. He may make some mistakes here and there, but his good far outweighs his bad. He's one of those dual-threat type of guys that the fans are really going to have a lot of fun watching."
