I am going to say what I said ealier again...regardless of what Orange&Blue says the Illinois people I have spoken to are not worried about Drummond at all...they all are already counting Drummond in their '09 class (not unlike we are with guys like Homan and Mewhort)...

Drummond sure passes the look test, and it sure would be nice to go into Ill (specially Chi.) and nab a player every year or two. Mods, elitists or those who know, who is tOSU's recruiter in the Chi, Ill area, thought Doc T. helped with GG.

Rivals has a page 2 post that identifies all the recruits with the coach who was responsible for their commitment.
Rivals indicates that the coaches involved with Garrett Goebel were Dick Tressell and Jim Heacock.

Their not worried about this one in terms of us, according to what their posters have said...They are more worried about grades here...

And you KNOW it's bad when Illinois is unsure about a kid because of grades. Heck, Jeff Cumberland got in without any problem...

I don't have any problem taking a pass on Drummond, though I'd love to get an "in" on Morgan Park HS. They've put out some good talent lately.

Craig Drummond (6-5 255) attends Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois and finished last season with 18 sacks. His performance last year was good enough to earn All-State and All-City honors and his team finished with a record of 12-3 after losing in the state title game. He has received numerous offers but two schools stick out the most.

?I?ve received offers from a lot of schools; I can?t name all of them,? Drummond said. ?I don?t have a top 5 but I like Illinois, Miami, and there are some other schools............
