Troy#1- To be honest I just wanted to watch football tonight. I didn't go into the game rooting for OSU, but rather was forced to after their first score. After I saw that they were more than capable I was like shoot what the hell GO OSU!

I cheered for Oregon State like crazy in this win regaurdless of what I thought would make us look worse had USC lost.

Bottom line is if we take care of business we'll atleast be in the BCS Rose Bowl.

I'd think USC will fall to around 8-9?

If we take care of business, tOSU will be in the Rose Bowl anyway. This loss, compounded with the SEC proving that parity=mediocrity, could put us in the title game again.

Its okay. I just know all the fans from the special education conference will be MORE unbearable than usual.

I have to give USC and Pete Carroll a lot of credit. They were down three TDs at halftime and fought until the last minute of the game, almost pulling it off. That took a lot of heart. In fact, had it not been for some penalties, some truly bad breaks, and one errant throw, they would have. When Tressel and the Buckeyes are down they just give up and fail to make even the most obvious adjustments that a child could point out.

I will say that I do think this makes OSU look a little better for the mere fact that is shows that a great team can have a bad game.

It's funny, a Pac 10 team losing to a Pac 10 team shouldn't decrease one's opinion of the Pac 10's relative strength compared to another conference. For example, no one is trashing the Pac 10 when Auburn loses to LSU. But, SEC fan's aren't always the brightest...

I'd hope not. All of you know how much of a buckeye fan I am, infact I'm looking around my bedroom and everything is OSU (kinda sick in a way). However, the only way I would want to see us in another BCS championship game is if everyone loses 2 times ahead of us. We've had our shot two years in a row and have gotten embarressed. Someone else deserves a shot before we get another if its a tie or something. I'm just being as unbiased as I can here. If lets say OSU has 1 loss (real bad one at that) and Florida has a 3 point loss against like LSU I would hope Florida goes (regaurdless how late in the season their loss is). It would be more fair to see a team like BYU get there than for us to get another shot.

We're a talented team no doubt, but I say make us prove it in the Rose Bowl before letting us play for it all again.

I was with you 'til BYU. Fuck that. Let them prove it in another BCS bowl first.

HAHA... I knew that'd get people, but I'm just saying although BYU isn't as big a hot bed as our school is. If they finish perfect I mean how can you deny them for a 1 loss tosu team who hasn't played to potential the past few big games?

I'd also just like to point out that Sanchez is not 100 percent no matter what the hell they say over there in Souther Cal. He was limping all over the place out there. Goes to show you what pressure will do to a guy with a banged up knee.

Because BYU hasn't seen a "big game" on that level in twenty years. Non BCS schools in BCS games...I'll get over it. But non-BCS schools in the NC game? I'll have a stroke.
