Good news.

There is hope for a decent OL haul.

Before we hail Bollman for his prowess lets remember, he has "reeled in" a Boren, a kid 5 minutes away with no offeres from our recruiting co-horts, and possibly a prospect whose father was a captain at OSU.

Never-the-less. Let's keep this about Davidson.

A good prospect, better kid, at a positon of need.

I'm hopefully we can land him mainly because it appears Fickell is heavily involved in his recruitment.

If we can land Davidson and another pure T prospect (hopefully 1 of Dodson, Diamond, Kallis, perhaps Simmons), I will be satisfied.
The OL coach in 2012 will have some much needed bodies.

Forget about Kalis...I truly believe he is gone and not coming back. Same with Dodson. Only a drastic coaching staff overhaul COULD change that but that just might work even more against OSU in the end.

Boren, Elflein, Davidson and one more tackle would be outstanding, IMO, given the circumstances.

I have never seen anyone on this board hail Bollman for recruiting. He's only mentioned when you complain about him.

Wade... assuming Bollman is gone after the season like most are expecting, do you think bringing in a different OL coach would change things for Dodson? Or do you see Diamond as more of a realistic option?

Also, how good of a chance do you think we stand of landing Davidson? Did waiting as long as we did significantly hurt our chances?
