I'm sure the scUMmers will claim he is not putting his heart into this game. I don't care what he did in HS, he should bring his A game everytime, especially at such a high-profile, preseason warmup type event...

And to think some of us wondered if maybe Carr was finally shoring up his ST (yes I realize its just one pre-college game, but what would smack talk be like if we were realistic?)

If that's the case, then they deserve whatever they get. I was under the assumption that Mesko would punt and Rivas would do all the kicking duties.

By the way, Is the game over? What is the score? Down in Georgia, I don't have the luxary of watching the game.

Fourth quarter, around 8 minutes left. Ohio ball. Big 3rd down play coming up after the commercial break. One of Penn's corners went down injured, hopefully he will be fine, it would be terrible if someone got hurt badly in this game. Oh yeah, still 34-28 so a scoring drive here by Ohio would be nice.

Manningham tripped up on an end around behind the line. Ohio punts so it's Penn ball with around 7 minutes left.

Man its 34-28 I don't know what the Ohio coach is thinking. The Ohio WR's are total mis-matches for the Penn DB's. Ohio has the ball with 8 min left. Mesko's 3rd punt sucked and Pennsylvania got a great return. Mesko will not have 10 seconds to punt in the B10. IMO Michigan is going to have some special teams problems this year. They were banking on a H.S. kid and IMO its not gonna happen...he will not be as good as Finley.

Is it just me, or did the invocation of the "you are getting your ass kicked, so we'll give you the ball back" mercy rule totally change the complexion of this game? I don't care who's on top at the end of the thing, PA lost.
