Lofton announced that he's returning next season. Man, UT will be tough.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=2847859

I thought he would declare, and not hire an agent just to see his draft stock...

Others that have declared in the past 2 days are Thadeus Young and Brandon Wright...Young will not hire an agent...

There are also talk that Crittenton will join Young...

Also Collison is coming back to UCLA...

My understanding from what I've heard on ATL radio, and I could definitely be wrong, is that they get to keep it if it's the third pick and that anything else and it goes somewhere else (PHX, NY, or Detroit, I believe).

Fuckin' hawks (intentional lower-case H). Snake bit and deservedly so.

What it is, is if the pick is inside the Top 3, then ATL keeps it, and then the Suns get their first round pick next year, regardless of which one it is.

The beauty of this situation for Ohio State fans is that ATl could win the lottery with a little luck (12% chance), and then still have another lottery pick (from Indiana, i believe).

What this means, is that if they win, they would most likely draft Oden (or if something crazy happens and they can get Oden at #2), and then they could use their second pick to draft Mike Conley Jr. Point Guard and Center are their two biggest needs, and picking the pair of buckeyes would be undeniable if the oppurtunity came up, considering their talent and chemistry.

I think there would be a lot more Atlanta Hawk fans in Ohio if this could somehow happen.

i have absolutely no issue with the hoyas winning it all next year. it appears that they have mature and talented players who understand team ball. the coach is composed, and the fans, in my opinion, aren't full of themselves.

between unc, kansas, ucla, memphis, and gtown, the hoyas are my clear favorite as far as who i want to win it all.

Was there a better place for Greg to land in the lottery? (in terms of surrounding talent... ignoring visibility, tv markets, etc) I don't follow the bottom dwellers well enough to know.

I'm excited to see what Greg, Roy, Randolph and co can put together up there.

They've got a lot of centers already, I guess we can see one or two of these guys move if Portland does take Greg

IMO Seattle would be a better place for Greg, b/c he would be able to play Allen, Ridinour, Rashard Lewis...

Portland seems to have an alotment of big guys, they need help in the back court, but there is no way they pass on Oden...

If Green comes back for GTown I think that they are the favorites...Hibbert made a great decision for himself...He will go top 3 next year...
I havent seen them play once, and I defer to a fan, but alot of publications (and whatever was quoted here) list him as a center.

Correct me if I'm wrong Oregon, but Pryz and Jack were co-captains?
LaMarcus is definitely a PF. He may play center occasionally in a smaller line-up but he's predominantly a PF.

I don't know about the co-captains.
