Bud Selig: What an asshole!

After all the pageantry and posturing - the hours of buildup and then the first couple of hours of boring baseball - we FINALLY have an entertaining game. And as the leader of this league looks on he has his head in his hands looking all bored and upset. I realize this kinda puts him in a tough position in some ways, but DAMNIT, at least summon the effort to fake it and pretend that you are enjoying this as much as I am. After all Mr. Selig, this is YOUR product.

Indians' Lee, Sizemore help American League get All-Star win By Sheldon Ocker

NEW YORK: The way New Yorkers view the world, it's always about New York, and Tuesday night it really was.
Far from The Apple's core, miles from Times Square and Central Park, SoHo and the Village is the Bronx and Yankee Stadium, which by next year will be an empty relic. That's what this year's All-Star Game was all about, paying tribute to the majestic old ballpark that will be replaced by a shiny new icon for Yankee fans to dote on.
In that respect, Michael Young of the Rangers saved the day, because his bases-loaded sacrifice fly off Brad Lidge gave the American League a 4-3 win and kept its unbeaten streak going. In the past 12 years, the AL has won 11 times, with the teams finishing in the infamous 2002 tie.
The game lasted 15 innings to become the longest timewise (4 hours, 50 minutes) and tied for the longest in innings with the National League's 2-1 win in 1967.
