2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

I guess you must not have noticed Rich still actively recruiting Cullen Christian, Dior Mathis, Tony Grimes, and Rashad Knight.

Christian, Grimes, and Knight have all come out publicly within the last week or so and declared Michigan as their outright leaders, and there is some pretty strong indication that Dior Mathis is a big Michigan lean as well.

Who are said WR's with offers from Toledo that we are trying to convert to defense?

I highly doubt Knight or Grimes end up in this class and Dior's spot might be gone like Jwinslow said. The staff got a good look at Dior at the Sound Body and Mind camp I think it reconfirmed their belief that he's a slot at the next level. Some also believe Christian would make a better FS than a corner.

Either way, I think RR will bring in enough talent at CB that potentially converted slots would struggle to beat them out.

His height (which is noticeably less than Cissoko) would be a big problem against Carter, Posey or Stoneburner.

I certainly agree height could be a problem. However, if he can cover, and all accounts are that he's got excellent coverage skills, that's a major upgrade to the coverage of the Michigan secondary from the past few years. It's been flat out awful.

Don't forget L. Anderson. While UM might not have the best shot at him, he still is mentioning them. He was camping at UM last week too. Obviously, if OSU offers, they probably jump to the top of the list, but it is still to be seen whether they will offer or not.
