2010 polls - Pre-season and regular

For me, it's going to be interesting to see if Wisky jumps ahead of TCU in the BCS.

Looking at where Boise is, I swear that there are at least 4 teams ranked below them that would destroy them. How I wish that one of those teams could play in the Humanitarian Bowl.

Of course, the ESPiN hack Fowler has Bull Shit U over Ohio State, but the guy from Idaho had Ohio State 6 and Bull Shit 11. So maybe only ESPiN and the head truck driver had a problem with what Gee said.

Disintermediation. ESPiN has a LOT to lose if the conferences get bigger and their networks stronger. Ohio State is the poster child for that. Boise State is the symbol of hope to reverse it.

Two different polls. The AP poll only means something to the AP.

BB73 posted the coaches poll, which is part of the BCS.

I wonder how many western voters who were pumping up Boise elevated Stanford after they shut out Ore St and Boise lost? We actually moved up a spot, but Stanford moved up 3 spots. What is it with beating Ore St? TCU, Boise and Stanford all got big boosts for doing it.

I'd be curious to see the western voters...some of whom might also be pissed about Gee's comments. Not saying it's fair or right, just saying humans are imperfect and some voters are idiots.

You never said coaches, just sayin.

I couldn't find a list of how the Harris poll voters actually voted...:(

This show is almost unwatchable. They have been blathering for 20 minutes about whether TCU should play in the title game if Auburn or Oregon lose. At least they haven't brought up Gee's comments.

An interesting tidbit in this week's polls. Texas A&M beat Texas, and they actually dropped in the AP and the Harris polls. They stayed 18th in the Coaches.

A win over the Longhorns doesn't mean much to the voters these days.
