2010 TSUN arguments & shenanigans (in-season)

Looks like some of the TSUN fans are getting a head start on the optimism for next year. There's even a 'the defense can't be worse again'.

2011 Win Expectations

Seriously sir, if you look at what the man has done here, with the deck stacked against him as far as support....a complete change in offfensive scheme....allegations(distractions) that he was cleared of...a bare cupboard when he arrived.....not to mention the other internal BS no head coach should have to deal with...and you want to still rip Rich Rodriguez, than you are simply a clueless individual
There's a man holding the ball or spotting rope or whatever. Definitely no cloaker.

wetdream is hilarious when he projects his opinions on other teams despite being shown ample evidence that his opinions are completely WRONG.

That blackdream is moron.

I know that there is no prerequisite for being a moderator, but that guy just comes across as a tool.

I like SOJ (I know that's not popular here). He is capable of rational conversation. SOJ is a UM fan that you can have a discussion with.

blackdream is just dumb. I mean, dumb as in he lacks intelligence. A very poor representation of a UM fan, IMO.

Further looking at that thread about expectations....they want to beat every powerhouse in the Big10......but expect to lose 2 games. Do they plan on losing to the Big10 bottom dwellers but out-performing everyone else?

Look at the games they won against teams in their weight class:

28-24 over ND
42-35 over IU
67-65 over Illinois
27-16 over Purdue

average of 6 point margin, 3 of the 7 wins by a TD or less. A lot of things had to go their way to get the 7 wins they had this year. No one over there even acknowledges the possibility they don't win all the coin flips next year.

Meanwhile, their losses were by an average of 17.6 ppg and a lot of second half/garbage time scoring makes that prettier than it really was.

I don't know their exact schedule but I know they pick up Nebraska and lose PSU/Wisky. That's probably a net +1 win so if they get a second straight year of winning every close game (they won't) they are looking at 8-9 wins tops with woodshed jobs coming from MSU, OSU and Neb.

I'd say 4 straight losses to Sparty and The Game streak reaching 8 will be the end of the RR experiment.

You didn't even mention the fact they had to eek out a win at home against fucking UMASS...

Provided you don't criticize--in any way, shape, or form--anything or anymore related to Michigan. If you provide any stats that are either positive for Ohio State or detremental towards Michigan, he brands you a flamer/troll and bans you.

September 3 Western Michigan
September 10 Notre Dame
September 17 Eastern Michigan
September 24 San Diego State
October 1 Minnesota
October 8 @ Northwestern
October 15 @ Michigan State
October 29 Purdue
November 5 @ Iowa
November 12 @ Illinois
November 19 Nebraska
November 26 Ohio State

One poster on their scout board commented that they had a favorable schedule next year. Maybe with a typical Michigan product like the days of yore that'd be true but with the current product up there it could get kind of ugly starting on October 8th. Favorable schedule? I don't see it. They could lose as many as seven games with that schedule if things don't go their way. Let's face it. They are dead in the water with that defense.

Oh and scUM opens 2012 with Alabama and they also play at Notre Dame, at Nebraska, and at Ohio State and then Denard and Forcier run out of eligibility. On the bright side, maybe the defense will start playing better by that time.
