the real question is should I take a hiatus from this site once the season starts?........ Is it going to be that bad?

Ehh, just like everything else in life, somewhere between as bad as we think it is, and as good as you think it is....so 6-6 ish. :)

Former Spartanburg quarterback Conelius Jones has left the football team at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia, Vikings coach Freddie Brown said on Monday.

Jones enrolled at the prep school earlier this month after not having a qualifying SAT score to attend the University of Michigan for the fall semester.
Jones signed with the Wolverines in February. He was to attend Fork Union for one semester and enroll at Michigan afterward.
?He came home after about a week,? Brown said of Jones. ?I can't speak for him, but he may have decided that prep school wasn't for him.?
Jones' core GPA was strong enough to give him a chance of being considered by the NCAA clearinghouse to enroll for the fall semester, Brown said.
However, Brown said that Jones was ?about 30 points shy? on his SAT score, which prompted him to enroll in prep school.
?He doesn't have to go to prep school. That was just an option for him,? Brown said. ?He may have decided to just retake the SAT and get the necessary points to go on and enroll at Michigan.?

Rumors swirling on gbw (from the top) that there's some questions surrounding taters eligibility. They expect him to be cleared, but it's apparently not a certainty. One thing after another up there...
Apparently he's cleared now.

Now a recap of DickRod's presser:

Basically, blah, blah, blah...coachspeak. But, what sticks out is how unsettled they still are at a number of key positions. QB? No starter set, will rotate. RB? No starter set, will rotate. Wo will handle kicking duties? Unsure. That's a recipe for a big season right there...(sarcasm)
