2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs

2 game 7's tonite, one a stinker, one goes into OT!!! WOW love it. Bad TO to end the game sucks. Crawford was A+ tonight. Thats was GREAT goaltending we just saw.

2 more game 7's tomorrow ?? Unreal. The NBA can suck the FAT one.

Rest or Rust, we'll see for the wings....

Thank God!! I could hardly watch after Toews tied it up. I am really proud of the way the team stepped up and fought back after they could have easily just given up. (which is what I expected them to do)

Luongo was great for the most part last night. And I really like the way Kesler asserted himself assisting on the first goal and throughout the game.

Nashville worries me mostly because of pekka rinne. We have more depth and talent, but a great goalie can be the equalizer. I hope luongo will be back to his great self like he was in games 1-3 and 7.

Going with Canucks in 6

Another Game 7 OT tonight with Montreal at Boston. Montreal got a PP goal in the last couple of minutes to make it 3-3. They were down 0-2 early.

Not really playoff related but its hockey news during the playoffs so I thought I'd put it here.

The lack of attention hockey gets boggles my mind. I'll admit I rarely watch it, but when I do it's always worth it. One of the first things that I notice is the lack of prima donnism (yes I just made that up). The stars egos aren't overly inflated like in other pro sports (cough NBA, MLB, NFL cough). You don't see nearly as much wining and complaining either. Action is usually non stop as well.

Honestly as an avid hockey, I think the problem is that watching on tv is completely different than seeing a game live. (I know it's true in all sports but moreso in hockey).

I think it's all the damn frogs... ici nous parle Anglaise, sil vous plait.
