2013 Rivals/Scout/etc. National & Regional Rankings

Rivals sure loves their camps. No problem at all with Burrows moving down but these camps seem more important than actual football with them. Farrell of course will say no way but that's how it looks to me.

Hopefully they actually evaluate games this fall with the analysts 247 hasn't poached yet.

It's bad for their business for the vast majority of the highest ranked recruits to be committed. So unless they de-commit, their rankings have to fall

Here's where the commits were from the last update...

So Bosa fell 5, Burrows fell 14, Woodard fell 10 and Marshall fell 5...

Not sure why Bosa fell. Could rationalize the other 3. But yes it is obvious that they overrate camp performances. Like Coach Meyer says, put on the pads and you find out who the pretenders are.

The interesting thing is that Marshall and Woodard both had good reviews from camping. Woodard got his 5th star on ESPN based on camps.

Their explanation would be he didn't participate in any high profile camps.

Vonn Bell also didn't go to any camps...left out of the 100 altogether.

If this doesn't prove the camp bias I don't know what does. From his BP page: 2011 stats (defense): 180 tackles, 5 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries for touchdowns.

Let me get this straight. This is the last thing we have to judge him on and he is not a top 100 player? :slappy:

Yes, camp bias exists.
