2015-16 Ohio State Quarterback Discussion

IMO Braxton is the better/more athletic QB but I will say, the two elements of Barrett I like over Braxton are JT's decision making and ability to spread it around... with that being said, Barrett, albeit a RS frosh, goes into brain freeze when things get rough

So, JT uses his legs to win a game and its considered 'gutsy'? But Miller gets blasted in this thread for using his legs because 'he's not a pure QB'?

Never once have I 'blasted' Braxton for using his legs. NOT. ONCE. my *only* knock on Braxton has been that i think he trusts his legs more than he trusts his arm or eyes.

I'm starting to SERIOUSLY rethink that position.
it is becoming apparent to me that when the going gets tough, the coaches call QB runs.

I still think that JT is a better pure passer than Braxton. I still acknowledge that Braxton is a better athlete.

And I think that the play calling against opponents with a pulse is atrocious. If we come out with last night's bullshit offensive game plan against the Spartans, they'll beat us by three touchdowns.

Now that MSU is over...bump.

If Miller is healthy next year, this will be "interesting".

I suspect the coaches would have to play both in some sort of rotation. If JT continues to play on par with his current season performance, I honestly doubt that you have him on the bench next year.

Hell of a dilemma to have considering the head coach of the team, and what he was able to accomplish with Chris Leak and Tim Tebeaux splitting some snaps.

Would be interesting to see a two man backfield with Brax and EZE back there. Good luck scheming to stop that attack.

Denard Robinson has found some success playing at RB in the NFL. He battled through some injuries in college. Would be interesting to see how the coaches incorporate Brax back into this offense.

What about Brax and JT in the backfield? Zone read, either could get the snap, could motion Brax out to H...so many possibilities and wrinkles. JT is going to play a lot next year, no doubt in my mind. But this "problem" is going to be a great one to have.

How about we just put Zwick in and end the damn debate?!
