2019 Week 4 CFB Open Thread

Maybe I haven't seen the proper thread yet but you guys (B1G Fans) should really give Fox Sports shit for putting the Michigan/Wisconsin game at 12:00 Noon.
That's some late November bullshit. This is a big, nationally relevant game that should receive a much better timeslot.
Fox is doing that with all their premier games this season. With ABC/ESPN and CBS putting their top games in the 3:30 and 7:30/8:00 p.m. time slots, there's less competing for viewers.

Which would suggest to me that the networks are concentrating on the Midwest, South, and Southwest. More or less writing off the coasts as a difficult lace to sell college football.

Fine, but that 78% jump may be due to the fact that the 12 slot was filled with crappy teams/games until this year. Personally, I dislike the 12 slot. And am I right that Urban wanted night games for recruiting purposes? I don't see too many California kids getting up at 9am to catch an Ohio State kickoff.

we getting it for 2 straight games now. :smash:

this will be the earliest scheduled OOC game in Tiger Stadium history.

the App St game in 2008 was a 10:00am kick, due to moving it up for a Hurricane (Gustav). Was originally an afternoon game.

coincidentally immediately upon Bama bitching about 11am games, LSU gets slapped with 2 in a row.

You guys don't like to be blackout drunk before 1:29 pm. You should try it. Just view it as a really long pregame for the nighttime festivities.

However, if your team loses it makes for really fun time for eveyone around you the rest of the day.
