I posted on thread 86 or 87 saying I’m hearing from my folks about big ten banning xichigan from big ten championship game and CFP. Here is the latest I’ve heard. It’s changed some. —more news and one more coach gone on Tuesday. There is question on the BiG/bowl ban maybe coming out after the game (1) might be safer for the OSU players and fans (especially if UM season is gone before they play) and (2) if OSU wins then the BiG championship is already off limits and bowl ban won’t cause as much backlash

Also sounding like the practice film being stolen is definitely got some legs to it. I don’t want to speculate any more until I hear more but,again, please don’t take my word as absolutely being true. I feel that I’m getting good info though

My guess is that the stolen practice footage info is more directly tied to the FBI investigation of Weiss’s computer, which is why it’s taking longer to be verified.

Thought I'd summarize the end of Thread XCIIfor everyone's convenience:

Connor Stalions and Connor O’Dea are two of the names registered to the 5731 Villa France address.

Stalions and O’Dea are high school classmates, and O’Dea has been confirmed as buying tickets by Matt Fortuna.

What hasn’t been reported is Deshunare Warren (aka “Dee Warren") is the third name registered to that address. He is a data scientist and computer programmer.

Warren’s name has leaked as being a central part of the investigation into Michigan. Decrypting play calls and electronically communicating with the sidelines during a game is what is alleged.

The real-time use of digital surveillance to decode/decrypt and communicate play calls to the sideline is a much bigger integrity of game issue than just using practice footage - this is a very serious allegation.

I read through all the threads over there discussing this, and yes, it sounds like some Tom Clancy level stuff but with the way this story has gone, who knows?

One recurring theme i dont understand from that thread are the statements about LE, especially at the Federal level.
While live digital sign stealing being fed into an algorithm (already trained on the recorded videos) and transmitted to the booth would be a new level of cheating.... we're still in "NCAA illegal" territory ?
I can only think Feds are involved if it includes hacking practice tape (rumored) or betting/match fixing (rumored) ?
Or am i missing something?

been saying that since early on.. cuz too many iterations for the human brain to completely separate and fine tune... that there had to be 3 software runs.. all using game video exchanged
1) determine hot using illegal onsite sign steal vid 2) align hot with formation 3) align hot/formation/the play or defense .. IT had to be a jugular component..

And that information also needs to be directly communicated with the DC / OC.
On defense you have maybe 10 seconds to put it all together and get the adjustment in presnap.
