There sure is a lot of momentum in this story. What if the NCAA has been told to stand down because the Feds are running the whole show? It Would explain Michigan withdrawing the civil action and the house cleaning of a coach who was interfering with an investigation. Federal investigators are adept at leaking just enough of the evidence to sway public opinion while they continue to connect dots and build the rest of their case.

My impression is that NCAA is like a dog at the table picking up the scraps that FBI drops.

Just wait for these mgoblowards to realize Ryan Day's brother doesn't run a PI firm. He's the undercover double secret FBI regional manager.

Maybe, but the FBI has no fucks to give about NCAA rules. So, what's their play? Kiddy porn on Weiss' laptop? Gambling with insider info by coaches? Anyone? Those are the two avenues that I've seem that could take this case to the feds.
