*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

Good question though. It’s just like TCUN to consider an asterisked cheater to be their best ever
Raise your hand, anyone, if you're surprised about this, so I can more easily see who I need to laugh at.
"We're the greatest team in the history of the sport - look at how many wins we have." They went around the state, with a pile of paid players, and I think I heard a rumor that they'd get people who were out of eligibility sometimes, teaching other teams how to play football a half hour before beating the snot out of them at football. And when they couldn't find anyone smaller than them to pick on, they picked on high school kids. And when the Big Ten asked them to play nicely with others, they left.

So yes, it is just like those cheaters up north to consider him to be their best ever.
And it doesn't surprise me at all.

I didn't apply to M*ch*gan. I didn't apply to any schools in that state. And maybe they are one of the top universities in the world. But when my cousin got accepted to, and attended, University of M*ch*gan, I lost a lot of respect for that school. Don't get me wrong - she was a smart person. But she had a lot of issues. Either someone pulled some strings for her, or she filled a quota that they needed filling, or their standards aren't as tough as they like to advertise.
Call me a "hater" if you want, but I'm not jealous of the academics.
Maybe I hate their arrogant attitude toward their academics.
Or the whole "Fab 5" love-fest.
Or the fact that the "Fab 5" seemed to be treated as the victims when they got caught for accepting money.
Or the fact that they claim credit for the greatest quarterback of all time, even though he was benched his last year and turned into a 6th-round draft pick.
Remember when Lloyd Carr blamed their loss to Ohio State in 2004 on Ohio State's security delaying their entrance into the stadium? They walked up to the stadium like it's their house and demanded to bypass security.
Or Desmond Howard. Ha.. that's really all I need to say, but I'll say more. Remember his "Heisman pose"? Had he never seen the actual trophy? Had no one in the media seen it? Way off.
How about their refusal to give up fighting that JT got the first down? It's been proven by eleventy bazillion internet nerds.
Or that "Spartan Bob" got the timing right?
Remember Denard Robinson's "I'm hungry" motion? Ha.
What about Franklin's "All the good Ohio Players go to M*ch*gan quote..." Eff that dick.
"Our wins over Albion College, Beloit School for Advanced Boy Scouts, and Ann Arbor High School have us as the winningest team of all time!!!"
"So what if we cheated by illegally stealing teams' signals weeks before we play them. Everyone goes 5mph faster than the speed limit."
For all that I hate about them, I am very glad, still, that they boned Penn State in 2005. (Penn State was clearly better than Texas or USC, remember...) (sarcasm intended)
Fact: @Zurp and Ernest Hemingway have never been seen in the same room together.

So to recap their day.

They had a guy who accepted a job say "nah fuck that" and back out to go back to his old job

and they made a rehash hire at LBer coach of a guy who did a pretty mediocre job at Tennessee

big moves!

At this point, it's all about getting some warm bodies on the sidelines in time for spring camp.

Clearing the minimum of head coaching expectations like

Hmmmm, I wonder if there has been anything going on in the past three seasons that has made every coaching hire, and every “development” of mid recruits, work out above expectations?

His "solution" to most spots was just promoting someone internally.

and for the non internal promotions it's been rehash hires, washed up NFL hires and throw in a bizarre gift from Don Brown at Umass of a guy who isn't exactly highly qualified.

Even if you ignore that it's scUM I don't think he's made a single hire that anyone could actually objectively call anything close to a "home run"

Someone pull out the list of coaches they were reportedly pursuing that turned them down, as well.
