5 players suspended for 5 games in 2011 regular season (Appeal has been denied)

IF TRUE, i dont see how this is any different then when troy smith accepted 500 dollars from a booster and got suspended...in fact, most of the tattoos were probably double that...many big tattoos can take a whole 8 hour session and thats maybe just 1/3 of the whole tattoo...either way theres no difference from taking 5, 100 dollar bills or a 500 dollar tattoo...and the proof is impossible to get rid of which makes this whole fiasco, IF TRUE, look even dumber...better off taking 500 dollars cash...its alot harder to trace and prove that...i just pray none of this is true but theres no way JT's punishment is going to be a non-stop suicide drill until they puke their brains out
The burden of proof is on the ncaa (if they start sniffing around). Trying to find proof that this happened when most tattoo places are a cash business and don't keep extensive records won't be easy. If, and i doubt anything will, but IF anything comes of this, there's gonna be a lot of nervous ADs and athletes all over the country. I fully expect this kind of stuff happens all over the country given the ridiculous amount of body art covering athletes these days.

Which is sad because this is rampant. We just happen to have a douchebag trying to make a name for himself calling tOSU players on it. Gotta love the internet age.

This

Bucknuts is a huge joke. This is part of the reason why.

You could find recruiting and player infractions at any university in the country. Anyone who has any sources or knows anyone has heard of some of the shit going on out there.

Put on your seat-belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride for the next two weeks. Uuuuugh

bucknuts is a joke. they throw so much crap against the wall just to see if any of it will stick. then when some of it sticks, they want credit for the toss. meanwhile, they spend all their time in the bathroom, consistently walk around with feces caked on their palms, and no one wants to shake hands with them.

I don't blame Biddle at all. If it wasn't him, it would have been another...

This was out at least 24 hours before it went public.

EVERY site had it and chose to sit on it...then it started leaking onto various forums. It was coming out regardless.

I understand your point...but I can't place anger on the guy who reported the stupid choices of players who knew they were breaking the rules.

The rules are stupid...but they are the rules. I'm 100% in carefree mode right now in regards to this bowl game. If they sit it out, so be it.

For anyone who cries don't shoot the messanger, consider this:

How much professionalism has Bucknuts shown in the past?

Has Bucknuts reported information that ended up being false because they wanted to be the "first?" Maybe even a recruits DEATH, which ended up being false?

I am not trying to turn this into a bash Bucknuts thread, and I understand if this post is deleted as the Big Three OSU sites try to keep the peace...

BUT, the OSU Scout site does things the right and ethical way. Bill and Nevada would never pull what Biddle pulled on this one. This was for his own personal gain.

Which seems to be a theme...

I'm not going to go through a laundry list of site accomplishments or transgressions, but I will say you are glossing over plenty of history with your blanket statements.

To each his own...including sites. Biddle is a good guy and we have a solid working relationship with all of those guys as well as the other sites.

I understand your frustration, but as you said, let's avoid the BN bashing on BP.
