This week's NW game is at Columbus. I would expect to win by 15+.

I'd look for Oden to be north of 20 points and 10 boards...

and I really sincerely hope that they devise a plan so that the other scorers on this team (Lewis, Cook, Lighty, Butler) are able to shoulder more of the load.

OSU-NW

I think this isn't gonna be as much of a domination as you guys think. NW is 0-4 in conference play, but they still haven't been dominated this year. They lost to Wisconsin by only 6 pts and held them to 56 for the game.

They are very turnover prone, which we need to take advantage of. Conley needs to improve from his 5 turnovers last game. I could see NW getting 15-20 turnovers in this game.

Oden will probably not do as well as he did last game. Remember that Tennessee runs a 4 guard and 1 forward system. If Oden didn't dominate, it would've been sad. NW has some decent size. Oden will probably get 16 pts, 12 rebounds, 3-4 blocks and hopefully 4-5 assists.

My predicition:
OSU - 60
NW - 52

The NW/Wisconsin game was close because that's the style Wisky plays when it can.

NW's best win came against a mediocre Miami (FL) team. Ohio State can win this game by 30 if they want too.

NW is absolutely not any better than Illinois, and if Ohio State is hitting their shots, it will be a quick night. That's the key right there.

I always thought of NW as a tough, scrappy Big ten team. They play well and hard for 40.
We will have just too much talent for them. It will be a good game for Matta to practice team play and fundemantals while taking care of business.

I think that they have just lost the plot. Defensively, they have turned it up the last four games but, offensively, they have fallen apart. Averaging only 48 points a game is no way to win. They have become too slow and deliberate and turn the ball over too much.

If we crank it up, control the ball, and run with them a bit, they will fold. In my mind, controlling the boards and setting the tempo is the key to this game.

You have it pretty much nailed. I think about all we have to do is show up. NW is only a shadow of what it has been. We should win by a lot, by 20 or so.
