I am bitterly disappointed, but i really never thought this team would make the Sweet 16. Matta let slip that Craft was out on his feet in the iowa State game. They were exhausted and it showed. The 22-6 run was pure character.

There are no B1G teams in the Final Four because the B1G tournament needs to be completed a week earlier than the start of the NCAA.

Congrats to the team, especially for the character that was revealed after the loss to Wisconsin. :osu:

I know, I know, Syracuse and Duke had to play in a conference tourney...
but I'll go to my grave swearing that the best strategy is to play your 2's and 3's in the CT and rest your starters for the games that matter.

had a day to think now, and has some of said on year, I personally believe this team over achieved this year. Halfway through this season this team played and looked like a 20-25 ranked team, then the 12 game winning streak. I still believe they were a 15-20 type team. I expected a 2nd rd or sweet 16 loss this year, I just didn't think they were elite this year, but with no team elite this season, that's what allowed them to go as far as they did. It was truly a sucessful season as you look back on it, BTT Champs, wins AT IU, Beat Wisconsin 2 out of 3, split with Michigan and beat Sparty 2 out of 3..

next year COULD be a great season

We put it on the line that last 10 min. but to win a NC..you have to put it on the line every game, every practice, every summer work out.. Can these guys do the work they need to do to go farther? We have talent but it has flaws and weaknesses that can be improved..even the greats work on their weaknesses? I like how Urban does not let his players get comfortable,,

Since hindsight is 20/20.. I would have inserted Ross MUCH earlier and rode that horse to death

Ross looked tentative and did little in the first half. His production came after the big lead was built. He was also bad defensively in the first half. Bad as in bad enough that he hurt the team.

I would have liked to see Ohio State play with the same urgency for 40 minutes that they played with in the last 11 minutes.

Hello all, I am new to this board I have lived in Ohio all my life (42 years). My favorite team is Kentucky with Ohio State a very close 2nd for basketball. I basically root for both teams with all my heart so it really isn't a problem except once in 2011 when they met in the Sweet 16 and with Ohio State being so good that year (#1 overall seed) I was rooting for Ohio State that night because I felt we had a better chance that year to win it all. For football I only care about 1 team Ohio State don't care about any others. For Basketball I follow a lot of teams Kentucky, Ohio State, Cleveland State, Xavier, Kent State, Butler and a few others.

Last night was a tough loss that is going to sit with me for a long time. We had a wide open West region with the 3,4,5,7,8 seeds all falling in their 1st game and 1 seed Gonzaga falling in their 2nd game.

I have followed Wichita State closely for the last 3 years and knew this wasn't going to be an easy game but still expected us to win it.

I still can't believe we actually fell behind by 20 points at 56-36 we just could not buy a shot to that point. Wichita State has a good defense but we missed many open shots. Hopefully Thomas decides to stay and give it 1 more run.

In a year where no team has stood out as a dominate team though it would have been tough to beat the winner of Louisville/Duke this was the year for Ohio State to have a chance to win it all. In 2011 I really thought was their best chance to win it all. If Sullinger had come back and stayed healthy I think they would have won it all this year.

It was a great comeback that fell just short. Again a loss that will sit with me for a long time.

There aren't too many of us on here that don't give Michigan [Mark May], even when they face a Notre Dame or South Carolina. You reap what you sew in your conference.

I'm not so sure. I know many on here are actually pulling for that team to keep winning. Also, it's not just the fans of Miss Again, it's random people who just hate tOSU.
