Game Thread Akron at tOSU, Sept 3rd, Noon ET, ESPN

With only one B1G game left to play in week 1, tOSU is the only the only team with a defensive shutout.

The remaining game is Indiana/Ball St. Needless to say, that fact looks to stand.

According to today's game, not really. We'll see against Toledo...

Plus we'll have Jordan Hall and Travis Howard back, two of our starters.

Just got to my hotel from the game and I haven't read this whole thread. All I can say is it was nice to see them handle an inferior team the way they are supposed to. As they kept saying on the 610 postgame show, "But it's only Akron." Still, they dominated as they should against Akron (a lower-level MAC team at the moment).

Favorite part of the game was at halftime Lou Holtz calling mark may an idiot.

Lou should just let May talk that's enough to convince anyone that his mental capacity was aided by one to many concussions during his reign of terror at Pitt

I'm all for B1G traditions with the early kicks and so forth, but the problem with the noon kick and three kids is it takes a long time for the sobriety to wear off.

I believe our best wide receivers may be freshmen. Reed (RS), Devin Smith and Evan Spencer all looked terrific. Let's see how they look against better competition.
