Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

Ex-Alabama Crimson Tide RB Keilan Robinson's rings pawned

Former Alabama Crimson Tide running back Keilan Robinson's 2020 championship rings are listed for sale by a Las Vegas pawn shop for $60,000.

Robinson transferred to Texas from Alabama last year. He was not on the Crimson Tide's active roster in 2020, having opted out due to COVID-19.

The SEC, Rose Bowl and College Football Playoff championship rings are being sold by Gold & Silver Pawn Shop -- home of the TV show "Pawn Stars."

Robinson's name and number are inscribed on the rings.

A clip from the show covers the sale of the rings, which were brought in by someone named Jon, who says he was gifted the rings by his uncle. It's unclear how the family came into possession of Robinson's rings.

Robinson transferred from Alabama to Texas after the 2020 season. As a freshman at Alabama in 2019, Robinson appeared in 8 games and scored 2 touchdowns. He did not play in 2020 and made his return to college football with Texas in 2021. He scored 3 touchdowns in 11 games with the Longhorns in 2021.
Robinson was named as an honorable mention for the Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year Award in 2021. He is heading into his redshirt junior season at Texas in 2022.

Keilan Robinson transferred to Texas so maybe the Alabama ring didn't mean much to him. Unfortunately with Bijan Robinson on the Texas team, Keilan Robinson isn't going to be RB1.

I just saw 'Bama is down at #12 in 247's 2023 recruiting rankings. Shocked. But maybe Saban doesn't care because it's even easier to collect proven free agents, I mean, transfers.

Bama will finish in the top 3
Bama seems to start slow a lot and then end up top 2

I think gives everyone a head start as a game. Or the old man is hibernating and doesn't wake up until mid July- August. But until he retires, Bama should expected to finish in the top 2 yearly. And when he has an "off year" and finishes at 3 or 4, he just makes Bama the #1 transfer portal school for that year

Overheard a statistic that made me turn my head... Alabama QB's were sacked 41 TIMES last year. That seems like a shocking amount for a Saban coached team

That's gotta be an area they've gotta be super focused on this year... especially if Bryce Young wants to make it through the year I'm one piece

I think some of those can be attributed to Young holding on to the ball and looking for the deep ball with Williams. Sacks don't always tell the full story, especially when you're dealing with QBs who use their legs to extend plays, and a WR who's main weapon is going deep on flys and posts

Quarterback Bryce Young was favoring his right shoulder and threw his helmet after leaving the field. It followed his first throw after grabbing his shoulder on a sack by former Crimson Tide linebacker Drew Sanders.
CBS reported hearing a scream from the injury tent after Young entered. He was in the tent for almost 15 minutes before jogging to the locker room.

Bryce Young injury: Reaction to Alabama star QB leaving Arkansas game wide-ranging

“Bryce has a little AC sprain in his shoulder," Alabama coach Nick Saban said, via 247Sports' Charlie Potter. "We’ll have to take it day to day. We think he’s OK.”
