I love Malcolm Jenkins...LOVE him!!!

...not sure if I'm ready to say he's leap-frogged Donte "Lights Out" Whitner yet. I'll get back with ya after '08. :wink2: (hard to go wrong with either though)

Just my two cents. :osu: :)

EDIT

Actually, maybe throw MJ in over Will Allen (though I love Will as well  ) other than that, I like your list...maybe I'll 2nd the Vern over Darion motion also.

Ashton Youboty over Chris Gamble, IMO.

I'm also having a lot of trouble at the WR spot choosing between Jenkins, Holmes, Ginn and Gonzalez.

Boone is about ready for a spot on the OL. Pencil him in for next year's list.

Leaving Whitner and Salley out also seems like a crime, but man -- you can't move Doss or Allen aside. Lots of tough calls there. Maybe it's time for a second team.

Nowhere near as prolific of a first year, and a bigger dropoff in year two. Gamble blanketed a remarkable WR in Andre Johnson. The guy has dominated with Texan QBs flinging the rock.

Allen belongs at the nickelback spot, keep whitner alongside Doss.

I need Allen, Doss, and Whitner on my team.

Maybe MJ over Chris? Gosh, I don't know, but those 5 are incredible defensive backs. Just incredible. They would make some all-time lists.

I would probably take Boone over Barton. Just an incredible pass blocker and a more than dominant run blocker.

First off, what an embarrassment of riches. This team may have already bested Cooper's All-Time Team.

As much as I like Vern, I hate to say that Darrion Scott was much more intimidating. Maybe it had more to do with his supporting cast, but this year you never heard of any "Sack Clubs" or "Opposing Quarterback Clubs." The defensive line in 2002 was completely off the charts good. I think the hit on Brooks Bollinger says it all. But winning the NC Title should tip the scale. Besides Verns leaving early.

Darrion Scott stays. Gholston gets honorable mention.
