We ate there for lunch on a Friday, and I got sick early Friday evening. Shit and puked every 20-30 minutes all weekend and could barely move...just wanted to die. There was about 10 times where I literally almost shit the bed and barely make it to the toilet in time. Did nothing but drink water right after puking and shitting (shitting is a relative term, since after the first time or two it was just water that went right through me). I wouldn't wish what I went through on anyone. Finally started to get better late Sunday afternoon, and was able to stagger through school on Monday.
Bottom line is keep as hydrated as you can. Whenever you puke or shit, be sure to drink water immediately afterwards.

Introduction:
Food that looks appetizing at a school cafeteria or a buffet banquet may harbor Clostridium perfringens, an important cause of food poisoning.
What is it?
Clostridium bacteria are found in soil, in stool, and in the intestines of healthy people and of animals. Packages of uncooked meat or poultry frequently contain Clostridium. Clostridium can also be transferred into food from the hands of those preparing it.
Spores of Clostridium survive cooking. When the temperature drops back to less than about 140 degrees, the spores germinate and begin to multiply.

Buffet lunch yesterday appears to have been the cause of involuntary (but all properly directed to a toilet bowl thank God) colon cleansing on numerous occasions last night. I thought I was going to prolapse for a while, although I'm pretty much fine now.

Then, she has diarrhea for days! We have told her time and again,
"Don't eat the food at buffets!"
But, it's cheap with that free meal ticket the casino gives her.
Friends, don't eat from buffets if you can help it!
Make your own rehydration drink
You can make an inexpensive rehydration drink at home. However, do not give this homemade drink to children younger than 12.
Measure all ingredients precisely. Small variations can make the drink less effective or even harmful. Mix the following:
- 1 quart (950 ml) water
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) table salt, or 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 g) salt substitute (such as ?Lite Salt?)
- 3 to 4 tablespoons (45 g to 60 g) sugar
