Bacon: American Treasure or Work of the Devil?

I can only assume you've spent so much money on 19th century cookware and unadultered pork you only had $5 left in your pocket for the PBR pounders?

$3.99 actually, and they were entirely by choice. What better beverage to consume while smoking one's own meat. [insert variety of jokes now]

through my observations with individuals partaking in this, busch and gennessee would appear to be more prevalent choices.

This is true. Besides, I was into old man beers (including Hamm's) before they were ever discovered by hipsters.

Also, no hipster--even if they aren't fucking vegans--is going to take the time and effort to cure and smoke artisan bacon! Not conducive to fitting into their skinny jeans.

Anthony Bourdain on hipsters;

"Do you have hipsters here? Do you have these people walking around with fucking socks on their heads? Like Brad Pitt. They look like Smurfs. They've got a fucking sock on their heads. We've really gotta stop that shit. Sockheads. I hate them."

Sadly, I have hipster tendencies-of which I'm ashamed...

Shit, I just linked the Seattle Times. See my first statement.
Outside of getting your tips from a Seattle newspaper, I fail to see the problem with this.

I'm definitely given this a shot later this week.

If eating loads of Bacon, Balsamic Vinegrette & Greens is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

It's almost time to fire up the grill and toss some organic beef & carrots on.

I find your lack of adjectives disturbing.

Just don't dump out all of the bacon grease like they mentioned. I tossed in some mushrooms and almonds, too.
