I pay way too much money to have what is essentially canned diarrhea shipped out to Oregon to satisfy my occasional cravings. Skyline is also my first stop on the way from the airport whenever I fly back to visit family in Ohio.

Every so often I'll pay stupid shipping rates for a few bags of Jones chips, even though they're not as good as they used to be. I still prefer them to other name brands (unless its the kettle cooked or baked variety). I was definitely bummed when they stopped selling the burnt chips, always swung by the factory to grab a bag or two when I was back home.

My uncle was Christie Lambrinides, son of Nick Lambrinides the founder of Skyline. As a young kid growing up in Dayton we would always be visiting our Cincy family who lived in Western Hills. Some of my favorite memories are of going to Reds games at Riverfront (Go Big Red Machine) and hitting the Price Hill store and just stuffing ourselves with Coneys. I always have to get my fix when going home. I understand it's different and perhaps not for everyone but for me it's pure awesomeness.

Yup. If you don’t get it, and I understand those who don’t... no harm done. But for those of us who do get it, there’s few things in the world that I’d rather have for dinner... at any price.

I love Skyline. The best one is in Newport, KY. I'm not a Cinci person, but love Skyline. Anyone try Gold Star?

GS is OK in a pinch. There was one in Athens when I was in grad school there. Will do, but overall, I find it a bit too salty for my taste. Still way better than nothing.

We had three tourneys in Indy this summer and it was nice to grab some Skyline down there a few times. Still not quite as good as some I've had in Cincy, but totally passable.

I think my favorites are one in Anderson, can't recall the exact address as I went there with a former girlfriend who went to Turpin... but they were never shy about the mound of cheese there. Second favorite was near where I lived in Mason just west of 71 off of exit 25 (I think). Also solid amount of cheese and they never let you run out of oyster crackers when dining in.

There used to be one near campus in BG. If I recall, it didn't make it. But when in BG, I'm there for Pisanello's pizza... best crust outside of NYC... or the pizza place that was on Wooster if I could grab a beer with my pie.

And if I started a food fight in the B1G thread... please feel free to move.

I thought this was going to end with you saying some day you’re going to walk-on and make the Skyline team.
