well, the M5 was the PREMIER 4 door car in the world, and now the M6 takes that honor, so... i respectfully disagree...MililaniBuckeye said:

i know a guy with a CL 55 AMG... he occasionally takes it to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and drag races it... i saw him run a 12.1 @ 118 MPH, which for a 4,000+ pound luxury car is just RIDICULOUSLY FAST... in fact, it's faster than his Porsche 996 Carrera GT3...CleveBucks said:

My next one's going to be a Merc. I just got rid of an Infiniti Q45 that replaced the BMW 535is I destroyed by driving it into a retaining wall at about 50mph at the point of impact. Seeing that in writing looks really bad. Oh well, what's done is done.
That said, the BMWs and Mercedes are comparable, just as are QBs of a certain class. I think pretty much any blue-chipper that's smart enough to shut up and listen will do really well for us, and himself, in Tressel's stable.

I don't normally nitpick, but the 6 series is not a 4 door. There will be an M6 as well as a new version of the M5 (comes out next year).lvbuckeye said:
As far as being an idiot for choosing a Bimmer over a Lexus....well I guess I'm an idiot. I would readily admit that the Lexus is likely to last longer and be more reliable because of their Toyota heritage...but there is a reason that the BMW is "the Ultimate Driving Machine". Having driven both, the BMW is hands down the more enjoyable car to drive.

BMW. Hands down. I've driven quite a few of them, and I own a Z3. They are incredibly well made cars.
DaBuck- The Z8 is a awesome machine. Howevr, I heard last week that there's some talk of doing an M-series Z4, which would kick the Z8's ass. I think the idea is that it would replace the Z8.
