I downloaded the beta and played, it wasn't too bad.

It is basically a new coat of paint on the COD4 game, at least so far. I was playing with people who were 16-20 ranks already, so it's going to take awhile to get used to it. There are already the people who just find the tanks and stay in them the whole time.

No, it was actually a compliment to COD4. I fucking hate vehicles, and the only way I'll get COD5 is if it's amazing, basically. COD4 is my favorite console multiplayer game. I didn't think COD5 was necessary yet..

I played the PC demo and came away with one hell of a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't notice anything new, unless you think reverting to a WW2 theme is new. The one level where vehicle's were used in the demo they were very limited in there usefulness. The last two cod's have seemed like rat races, you just run around killing. Snipers get no love in these games, sure you can snipe, but not like they are meant to. I prefer shooting games out of the battlefield series off PC and Bad Company wasn't bad either.

What do you mean?

I snipe, I usually do it how I thought it was supposed to be done. Every once in a while I'll run around quick-sniping, but I generally do really well when sniping the old-fashioned way.

Hhhhhhhhh as much as I hate Joe Hall and his undying love for Rotel products... I have to agree with him on this and say "it's just going to be another shitty WWII shooter"...

I've played the beta, and from what I played, there are already incredibly easy glitches (which can only be a bad thing), and some of the guns are just terrible... On the bright side, the perks, vehicle perk, and other new features are a plus. Definitely not a game I'm getting right away, but down the road... I may buy it.

Single player should be great if you love wartime shooter games... I just get bored of them when there have been about 50 of them dating back to the original Xbox and PS2 days....
