Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

We'll see what happens. I'm surprised the media isn't making a bigger deal out of it. That alone leads me to believe Green only gets fined because there's no pressure on the NBA to suspend him. GS is the new LA it seems and can do no wrong.
If that's the case then it will lend credence to those who think the NBA fix is in. They painted themselves into a corner with the Jones suspension.

Is there a general consensus in regards to which opponent would be a better match up for the Cavs in the final?

I'm not sure about consensus but personally I'll take OKC all day. To me Lebron's 1:1 defense is far and away the most under-rated thing in the league, and it's far more valuable against 1:1 scorers (Durant, Westbrook) than "team offense", as I would consider GS.

Yeah, its gotta be OKC. In addition to Jim's point, its more difficult, I think for OKC to deal with Lebron as well. At any rate, obviously the Thunder are playing well... (wouldn't also Cleveland have homecourt in that case? Probably a good enough reason right there)

plus, Adams and Kanter both love to camp out in the paint and would have a terrible time having to fight past a screen to contest a Channing Frye 3. OKC is also prone to just absolutely horrid play at times, and I'm not entirely certain they can maintain the level needed to beat golden state twice more, let alone the cavs 4 times.

Yeah, I mean, Cavs had them down 2-1 and the complexion changed quickly. I don't know if anyone sees this other than a coin toss still, which is why the Green thing is a big deal... obviously if OKC can have 3 shots to close it out... you like their chances to whatever degree.

To be 100% honest, I think it might be just as tough if the league doesn't suspend Green. He'll know the refs are watching him like a hawk, and they just got plunger raped with him in the game, and he had a shitty game. Mentally GS will rally around the suspension, and well, for one game they can probably overcome it. If we were talking about the rest of the series, sure that's a major hit, but, for one game I don't know how much it matters. Plus you give Green a chance to get his head back together highly motivated.

I don't watch a lot of BB anymore, I have been watching this year. I've felt that GS has been trying to hurt Adams since his "quick monkey" comments. I don't care if you flail around going up for a shot (as ESPN is saying). Green looks satisfied with himself as soon as he did that kick, and his during his interview he looks satisfied with a smirk.
