I am shocked, scrap heap outfielders usually work out so well here

I did not even know who these people are but might as well. This team is extremely bad. Reminds me of the 70s and may be the 80s.

Amazing how they went from run away central champs to 10 games back.

They'll be back for another run in 10 years...

1997- blew it
2007- blew it
2016 and 2017- blew it

What's tough is the Indians typically are pretty bad in between (other than 1998-2001).

I do not think that they will ever be back unless Major League Baseball changes the salary structure and puts some sort of cap on how much teams can pay players but that discussion is probably for another thread.

The thing with these mega contracts is it doesn't allow for much balance if you ask me.

That said, the Tribe have done fine in the current situation.
