Colin Cowherd (Official Ass Hat)

I struggle with this one. I used to like 'herd but now I think his love affair with the SEC and USC is too much for me.

I love how he focuses on college football but I don't agree with his sentiments 100% of the time.

Cowherd's arrogance can get to be quite much sometimes...

I don't like the direction Mike and Mike have taken...college football is rarely discussed in season - they focus 98% of their efforts on the NFL. I guess I would expect that...but they also spent way too much time talking hot stove baseball.

I like listening to him every once in awhile, just for the fact that he talks about college football. He at least gives reasoning behind his opinions which not many of the guys do. I do get tired of the fact that he spends half of his show repeating himself.

The ESPN radio channel in Indy just dropped him in favor of Dan Dakich. Dakich is lame, lame, lame........

I personally enjoy Cowherd, but you're absolutely right, if you catch the first 10-15 minutes and his rant, you've basically heard the whole show. I like the guests he has on, uually they're pretty good. He tries to say he isn't biased but he is, he'll pummel your team one week and the next he'll praise it.

I have never really liked the way Mike and Mike talk and interact, it just bugs me. They sound scripted and odd, I don't know why I just can't stand the way they talk and it drives me crazy, so I can't listen to that show. I do enjoy Tirico and Van Pelt alot though.

That's right, I am resurrecting this fossil of a thread after a year.

Today while cleaning up the house after the kid destroyed it, I happen to have ESPNU on and the Herd was on. I really don't care for this guy, I think he's actually a little creepy, I probably wouldn't let my son around him... Anyway, they were talking college football for a little bit and they had Tom Blacklidge on. They started on ND and how much of a disappointment they are and I had a few laughs. Then something from out of nowhere happened...He started talking Big Ten and the Buckeyes. They discussed how they thought Pryor, from the beginning of this season to now, has progressed so much and how much better they thought he was since Purdue. Tom brought up the point that The Buckeyes Defense is for real and has been getting it done all year, they just needed Pryor to catch up. Cowherd also said after watching him this weekend, Pryor looked like a NFL style QB and is looking very good. They ended the discussion saying The Bucks were the class of the Big Ten and could be for awhile while Pryor is here.

Just thought I would post this cause it was actually surprising to hear something good come from his mouth about Ohio State. Also, I know a lot of you guys don't listen or watch ESPN, so I thought I would let you guys know maybe we are on the way back up in the national perception, even most of you don't care. I for one don't, but it is nice to hear some compliments from time to time.

Anybody ever catch that "Sports Nation" show on e!spn? What a trainwreck. It feels like a show put on by a local college station.
Yes and that's a good description. College station shows are often more entertaining in their unintentional comedy, Colin's TV show is just boring & awkward.

I saw 5 minutes of that show and actually thought it was a joke...then I found out it was real and was on ESPN...so then I wasn't really surprised.

cowherd's the guy who said michigan will rule the big ten in a few years after they beat notre dame

He is also the one who said the Phillies would kill the Yankees in the World Series...Then revoked it when my Phillies were down 3-1. He changes opinions very often and is more or less an idiot who sides with whoever is winning, just like every other ESPN "analyst"
