I don't see it mentioned, but Community has been put on temporary hiatus. The season should continue (eventually), yet that is often the first sign before cancellation. That would suck since I enjoy the show, yet the ratings simply haven't picked up despite word of mouth and some good reviews.

Well, the rest of this season will be aired, just later than usual. So it's not cancelled. Yet I doubt it will be picked up for a 4th season.

Maybe it will pull a Scrubs and the super rabid fans will be able to keep it alive for a few more seasons despite lower ratings, but I wouldn't hold out hope on that.

Yeah, unfortunately, in our society, anything that requires you to think a little, or possess an IQ over 100 tends to struggle. I made the AD comparison a little while back here, was hoping I'd be wrong. Maybe if NBC cuts it, a cable network would be willing to scoop it up. If it does get the axe and is allowed to finish it's last 12 episodes, I hope they go full on into AD Season 3 "I don't give a [censored]" mode. :banger:

As for 'The Office', I've watched three episodes from this season and they were all horrible. They need to put that show out of it's misery.

I doubt Chevy Chase would stay on the show if it went to cable.

I also don't think this show requires much thought. It uses so many tv and movie tropes/references it goes over people's heads. Plus I don't think a lot of people like the whole **** thing.

I think the show is great, but it is definitely a niche show. It actually reminds me of the The Critic more than Arrested Development. The Critic had so many tv and movie references that many people simply didn't get, yet if you did it damn funny.
