Comparisons between LSU v OSU defensive personnel

Well LSU will also see a different front 4 than usual as well. Denlinger hasn't been healthy in quite some time and while Nadar as played well Denlinger was/is suppose to be our best tackle. Now that he's back in the fold and healthy like your LSU line, both will be different. Also why is Donald Washington not listed as the starter??? I know his status is kind of uncertain right now, but as of right now he's good to go and is cleared to play.

I'd take our ends, but I'd take your tackles so the d-line's are pretty even IMO. I call it even

Linebacker- As stated Highsmith is very talented but he might be as good as Freeman not James though. #33 will be a top 10 pick highsmith probably won't be. Edge Buckeyes

Secondary- Our Corners are better, and I think our secondary is better overall at pass coverage. Run support I like LSU better though. Slight Edge buckeyes because of being a more complete secondary.

Have you ever had a word stick on the tip of your tongue and not be able to remember it, or maybe not be able to speak two words in a row without repeating it? mmm Dude?

Let this be a warning to the young kids in the BP audience,

don't take the brown acid.

How will the suspension of the two CB's affect your secondary? I am sure there is depth there, but how do they compare to the guy's that got suspended?

I know the OSU defense is good, but if we play defense like we did against Va. Tech, the Buckeyes may be in for a tough night. I look for both defences to dominate. Turnovers and special teams may decide it.:)

Only the one backup got suspended.
Jim Otis always says that the team that scores the most points will win. Thats how we usually determine the winner.

IMO it wont' hurt our secondary if only our backup gets suspended because he rarely played. However, if our starter does get punished (and it looks like he wont') it could effect us a lot in what we do. Our Back up Chimdi Chikwa who would be filling in is a very very good cover corner but only draw back to him is he's a bit undersized so #1 for LSU might be able to out muscle him (I hear Lafell is a delicate kid though so maybe not). Our Starter Donald Washington is very talented, very physical, and a big DB. At 6'1" 190ish Donald is probably a future 1st rounder (IMO, because of his size and speed) and losing him would hurt but wouldn't necessarily devistate us.

Also you'll have to come at Ohio State better than you did against Va Tech IMO. There's a couple things that seperate Va Tech from Ohio State. 1st Va Tech's offensive line is abysmal and should not be compared to Ohio States, 2nd Ohio State has a good QB unlike Tech, and most especially Ohio State has offensive weapons all over the field.

Being that I use to live 10 minutes from Va Tech I know they have some nice weapons in Eddie Royal, Brandon Orre use to be good, and also #2 Morgan is fast but OSU has more weapons. Especially at the tailback position.

Good to hear from you on our board and welcome!! ................dude

U should update this with Washington in. He makes a big diff in the secondary. Highsmith is good, but honestly im wondering if hes more a product of the great players around him (Dorsey in particular) making his job easier. JL is a beast and ive watched as much LSU as a lot of LSU fans have and I just don't see all the hype Highsmith gets. Is he good? Hell yea, but I think Freeman is better then him or at least Freeman would be the better comparison if Highsmith is to be compared to an OSU linebacker.
