Confirmed case of an employee at Hakkasan. I've been in Vegas for twenty years. The entire service industry has been exposed.

Now we wait two weeks to see if we're all dead, or if this is a giant nothingburger.
If your boss is an 85 year old with emphysema, a promotion may be in your immediate future.

We are exposed to hundreds of people that we will never see again, every week. Las Vegas immune systems are no joke.

Everyone I work with, myself included, got sick at the end of January. We all felt like shit for a week. I'm guessing I've already had Coronachan.

We offer our 220 employees elite health care coverage for around $60 per month. Care to guess how many choose to opt out?? We offer employees a matching 401k up to 6%. Care to guess how many opt out? Most people are only victims of their own terrible choices.
I don't know who your company is, but any kind of employer offered healthcare I've had in my 60 years is nothing like your so called "elite" plan! My insurance costs me roughly $350 per month for 80/20 coverage after a $6500 deductible, with no coverage for ANYTHING (including prescriptions ) until that deductible is met. That's for single coverage, and is pretty much the standard for everybody (at least us poor working people) in my area. That also means that come every January, I have to pay full price for the heart meds and meds I have take to deal with a brain tumor until that deductible is met for the year again. That has resulted in a few times having to forgo taking life-saving meds in order to take care of other responsibilities.
I don't know how many "High End Happy Hours" you attend, but you couldn't be more out of touch with reality when it comes to healthcare for the common working man!

You think it started in Vegas and secretly made it's way to China?

Agree. But it's what's offered. I know this is the wrong forum for this, but I just had to say my piece. That really pissed me off!
I work for a relatively small company ( about 30 employees ) and up here in NW OH, with the Promedica and Mercy monopolies, it really is about the standard thing available. most people I know are in a similar boat.
