Just made this video of Malcolm's career...

YouTube - Malcolm Jenkins OSU Career Highlight Video

I made another one before this season and youtube took it off, but I found it on another website. Here is the link... Buckeye Videos

If you don't love Malcolm after 2:48 on that vid, then you are not a Buckeye fan (or a football fan for that matter).

Edit: Same goes for 3:04.

Agreed!! Watching him take down Hart will always be one of my favorite Malcolm moments. He's earned the right to go out in style at the Fiesta.

My favorite moment still has to be his pick-6 against PSU in '06. That play reminded me so much of Gamble's pick-6 in '02.

Yup. Brilliant run down the sideline. Jenkins has to be one of the best DBs in OSU history. In terms of coverage skills and tackling ability, I'd put him on the same level as Winfield (as a CB), and Doss (as a tackler). Granted, I never saw Tatum. Jenkins was an NFL player in college this year. There were a few plays I saw where he recognized the WR route so early, he laid off to make the WR look open, and then closed to make the play. I think one may have been against Purdue (INT), the other was against UM, which was almost an INT. Just a great player. He could have played any DB position and been dominant. He will be a great player on Sundays. Thanks, Malcolm! You've done your school proud!

Mine is Malcolm and Donald Washington doing the Jump Around at Badger Stadium, oh then going out and shutting down the Wisky offense for another Buckeye victory.

If anyone would have a still of malcolm doing the jump around, that would be awesome.

OSU's Jenkins often overlooked, but he's a worthy recipient of Thorpe honor

by Bill Livingston/Plain Dealer Columnist Wednesday December 17, 2008, 6:20 PM

COLUMBUS -- When Ohio State's Malcolm Jenkins won the Jim Thorpe Award as this year's best collegiate defensive back, no royalty was present to whom Jenkins, after accepting the hardware, could say, "Thanks, King."
"Jim Thorpe was everything you want to be on the field and off," said Jenkins.
Thorpe's Sac and Fox Indian name Wa-Tho-Huk meant "Bright Path." It looked like a prophecy when Gustav V of Sweden called him the greatest athlete in the world at the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm, leading to Thorpe's jaunty reply. It turned into irony when eligibility issues, stemming from semi-pro baseball play, led the Olympic bureaucracy to strip him of the gold medals he won in the decathlon and pentathlon.
The point is not that Jenkins, a senior, has the same freakish athletic ability that led the Associated Press to name Thorpe the top athlete of the first half of the 20th century. It is that he appreciates what Thorpe overcame in a primitive time. Jenkins does not believe college football began and ended with him. He is connected to its past.

Marvin Fong/The Plain DealerOften electric in his ability to short-circuit an opposing team's passing game, Malcolm Jenkins was a deserving winning of the Jim Thorpe Award, says Bill Livingston.

He is the second OSU defensive back, behind Antoine Winfield, to win the Thorpe Award, which began in 1986. Corners are often the best athletes on a team. Jenkins is superb against the run, but coverage skills are most highly rated in a cornerback's repertoire. Deion Sanders, perhaps the best athlete to play football in the last 20 years, won the Thorpe. Michigan's Charles Woodson won the Thorpe and the Heisman Trophy.

Jenkins joins the ranks of top OSU cornerbacks Thorpe Award winner lets others decide who's best
By Tim May
Columbus Dispatch

Published on Tuesday, Dec 30, 2008
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ.: Malcolm Jenkins is a confident fellow, but he's not so cocky as to declare himself a member of what he considers the pantheon of Ohio State cornerbacks.
But as the winner of the Thorpe Award, which goes annually to the nation's top defensive back, he seems to deserve mention alongside the likes of Antoine Winfield or Shawn Springs. But Jenkins isn't so sure.
''I don't think I'd really stand a chance,'' he said when asked about being mentioned with OSU's best. ''The only thing that would really help me is I won the Thorpe Award, and not all those guys have done it. That's the only way I can get in the conversation, in my book.''
The book on Jenkins indicates otherwise. He has had 11 interceptions the past three seasons. He picked off three passes this year, blocked two punts and caused a fumble that was returned for a touchdown.
Texas quarterback Colt McCoy, who will face the Buckeyes in the Fiesta Bowl on Monday, has seen enough video of Jenkins to know he deserves mention with Ohio State's best.

I'm going to miss Malcolm in the Scarlet & Grey. He is easily one of my top favorite Buckeyes ever to play corner (along with Springs & Winfield) and one of my all-time favorites as well.

I think he's going to be a top cb in the NFL for a long time.

Great Game Tues., MJ. Good luck in the draft and thanks for all the spectacular memories.

Simply an awesome Buckeye career for MJ! A guy that wasn't highly rated coming out of high school, but he's walking out of The Ohio State University a MAN! I will really miss watching #2 on defense next year at the Shoe. Can't wait to see him on Sundays though!

Way to go Malcolm!

Is he projected as a safety at the next level? I know I've heard it before, but just cant remember.

Gonna miss him. Definitely one of my favorites. Good luck next year.

IMO no way in hell is he a safety. He's as good of a coverage man as pretty much anybody OSU has seen come through this program. I'd be very surprised if a team converted him to a S. His closing speed, hands, tackling ability, and vision, will make him a very very good corner in the NFL.

I don't follow the NFL draft gurus, but in my mind, the biggest difference between an NFL Corner and an NFL Safety is in the hips. Malcolm's got the hips. It would be foolish to waste them by moving him to Safety.
