DE Noah Spence (Official Thread)

I would have loved to see Noah scoop up that fumble and burn everyone 90 yards for a TD...maybe its a good thing he didnt though...(ask johnathan gray)

hes rated number 4 by espn....could he jump goldman/beckham/and edwards?

I can't wait for 3rd down passing situations for opposing teams are going to be scared of facing talented freshman like Washington and Spence man can't wait till next fall...

I believe we should run what the Giants do in the NFL with 3 or 4 DE's on 3rd down passing situations I can see it excel well with the talented dou at ends

Yes indeed it will be a nice problem to have with those 2. Dont forget Pittman.

Its a definite possibility but not for at least another year to be honest got to get some LBS and some strength on Washington so he can step down inside. But yeah its gonna be fun.:oh:

He looked impressive during the UA game. He could really give this defense the edge rusher they have been sorely missing since Gholston played in 2007.

The only question I have concerned him is can he come in and contribute next year? He's 6'3 or 6'4 and ~240, so perhaps he could come in and play at the LEO spot until he can get closer to 260. Or is it possible that he may just be a stand up rusher for his entire career in college?

Will Smith was about the same size and was in the 2 deep or starter

The weight won't matter if they can't block what they can't touch. :)

I thought urban was known for having smaller, faster des. That's how he killed us in the nc, derrick harvey and jarvis moss were neither above 245 and they were upperclassmen. It worked well for them at that weight in college and had an adverse affect in the nfl, becaulse they were considered almost olbs because of their size but had always played with their hands in the dirt. I believe carlos Dunlap wasn't that big either in college
