DE Noah Spence (Official Thread)

He was definitely a beast Yoyo, easily the best defensive lineman on the field and broke the record for the most sacks in the UA Game. He had 3 sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss, forced fumble, and helped force an interception. There was one series where he completely dominated. On first down he had a sack and forced fumble, on second down he chased Winston from behind at the 5 yard line, and on forth down he tackled Winston at the 1 to prevent a touchdown.

Pure Beast!

Bishop McDevitt's Noah Spence will not play in Big 33 game
ANDREW P. SHAY, The Patriot-News, January 23, 2012

Bishop McDevitt defensive end Noah Spence, a five-star recruit widely considered the top-rated player in the country at his position, will not play in the Big 33 game on June 16 at Hersheypark Stadium, he said today. Spence is slated to report to Ohio State on June 17.

Spence verbally committed to Ohio State and head coach Urban Meyer last month.

?I?m so happy. I just felt so comfortable,? Spence told The Patriot-News shortly after making his decision. ?It was all beginning to be too much. I?m more happy than relieved. I found what I was looking for at Ohio State.?

Spence, widely regarded as the No. 1 defensive end prospect in the country, committed to Ohio State last month. In his last prep football action, he dominated the ESPN/Under Armour All-American Bowl with three sacks.

Spence is the fifth winner of the award, joining past winners DeVier Posey (Cincinnati LaSalle/Ohio State), Jamarkus McFarland (Lufkin, TX / University of Oklahoma), Sharif Floyd (George Washington, Philadelphia/University of Florida) and Jeff Driskel (Hagerty HS, Orlando/University of Florida).
