DL Adam Bellamy (R.I.P.)

Did Adam have a terrific camp or do you think this offer was close and camp just solidified it?

From what I have heard and read, he had a super camp and really impressed everyone there. I always wondered why he did not got an offer before. He brings it every single play! He also has a real nasty streak in his play as well. Linemen with an attitude is always nice to have!

His Scouting Ohio film was impressive. I was kinda surprised he got offered before Muldoon, but thought the staff must see something better in Muldoon than Bellamy. I think he'd be a good fit for us at DT. He would complement Johnny Simon's power & pass rush very well.

Muldoon has an offer as a DE i believe. Bellamy would be a DT. He can also play OL if Watt doesn't commit. I think this means the DL from Arizon (Adams) has until the 20th to accept or the Bucks move on.

Uh, even when Bellamy pulls the trigger the staff would make room for Corey Adams. You don't say "No" to a national top-8 DT (#7 DT per Scout, #8 DT per Rivals) with Ohio ties.

Completely disagree...

This class has room for 3 DT's

Exactly...Simon, Bellamy and one more of Ezell or Adams...

Of course that is the beauty of the 3 tiered approach...basically we can say the number of POWER recruits in this class is 10...and if you want to further classify them maybe something like 4 OL, 1 TE (Fragel, with the other TE being a BIG SPEED recruit), 3 DT and 2 DEs (with Newsome fitting into the BIG SPEED category).

My ideal 10 POWER recruits would be:

Bellamy
Simon
Fellows
Muldoon
Hall
Watt
Linsley
Mewhort
Fragel

One of Adams/Martinez/Ezell

Back to Bellamy...
