DL Chris Carter, Jr. (Official Thread)

http://www.cleveland.com/osu/index.ssf/2013/09/ohio_state_vs_florida_am_-.html

Vrabel couldn't say enough about the progression of Chris Carter, who played more than 70 plays against Cal. Said he got his weight down, did all the things the coaches asked and got better in every practice. The reward? More playing time. Oh, and Carter's first play against the Golden Bears was a sack.

Awesome. Dream come true. And wow, to play against a super fast offense ... Chris likely has tremendous stamina after training at a much higher weight for a couple of years. Imagine UFM conditioning drills with a heavy pack on ones back!

Something you cannot always see on television, but Chris was out there directing traffic before the play - making sure everyone has the play call, adjusting where guys are lined up, etc. To me, he looked like the leader of the defense out there.

Meyer said he wasn't sure that DT Chris Carter could have "walked" through 30 snaps last year, let alone play 30 as he did vs Cal.

LOL.
