DL Simon Fraser (Official Thread)

Sacks are only 1 part of being a great defensive linemen

He must also defense the run. But I'm not very impressed with Fraser in either regard. I admire the loyalty to him but I respect the honest assessments of his true talents and what he has done to date.

I hope he gets 10 sacks a game but I'm not counting on that happening. Steady not spectacular.

 So he needs 10-11 to be in top 10 ?

How many here think #75 will get that many sacks this year ?

PS I'm sorry you actually had to do some research and crunch some numbers on your own (1 + 1.5 + 5 = 7.5). Sorry to burden you Miliani.

By my count, he'd need to get to 14 to be in a tie for 10th, so only 6.5 sacks is what he would need. Here's a wild idea, try a little research on your own.

At least we can know agree that I was right in asserting he hasn't performed to the level of other recent defensive ends like Bailey and Johnson

No, you're not "right"...how many times do I have to say "Wait until he gets the chance to play his senior year"? Bailey and Johnson weren't stuck behind an NFL first-rounder for their first three seasons...they would've been had Smith been 3-4 years older, and as such wouldn't had the stats they did have. So don't blame Fraser for Smith. Besides, even if Fraser doesn't match the career sacks totals of Bailey and Johnson doesn't mean he didn't play the position as well, if not better, than them.

By the way, what's with the childish "boo!" negative rep on my above post where I told you to do some research on your own?

Louis H (as in happy class president) Martinez,
I asked you before and you never answered. Why is it that all you do is bash players? Fraser, Fox, Ross,Mangold and Tressel.

It's funny that the only players you don't speak negative about are already gone.

What's your story ? What's really the source of all your bitterness? Did you not get recruited or did you get kicked off the team?

Go grind your axe elsewhere you dumb fuck.

ding..ding..ding

Louis here: I don't like your post so I'm dinging you.

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNOOOOOOOO.

Mili,

Why do you even ask? The dimwit is too slow to actually think up good insults, so he resorts to juvenile behavior. He basically repeated verbatim my comment to him in his "dinging" of my last post. Could be he's better at throwing insults in spanish, but I wouldn't count on it.

$10 bucks says he construes that remark as being racist. Another example of his ignorance.

I've praised many players, not the ones that you do however

I asked you before and you never answered. Why is it that all you do is bash players? Fraser, Fox, Ross,Mangold and Tressel.

Why don't you mention my praise of Hawk, Salley, Hamby, Holmes, Hall, Carpenter et al ? Critiquing isn't personal attacking.

It's funny that the only players you don't speak negative about are already gone.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzt ! Wrong. Please try again. I really sang the praises of Bellisari, Walter, Jackson et al.

Calling a guy a BUST is personal attacking, not critiquing. Read through the thread where people mention he lacks vision or can't hit the whole. That's critiquing.

Learn the difference , Corky.

I'll go through your posts and check to see where you praised the players you mentioned. I'll bet you 5 Pesos, ther are many more negative than positive.

Bust quantifies a lot

Bust means he hasn't parlayed his high school hype to the collegiate playing field.

Bust means he's lacking something or some things.. In Ross' case, he doesn't have any vision, lacks patience, doesn't run intelligently, is soft & has little durability, and is a poor blocker.

I think bust is just a word thats not necessary.

Criticising by using examples like you did regarding lacking patience, vision, etc just seems alot less mean spirited.

I agree with your assesment regarding his abilities , I just think it's not necessary to use BUST or B-U-S-T.

I did go through all of your posta and you only said something positive about Holmes, Patterson and maybe Pitcock andRichardson.

Ross, Hall, Mangold, Fraser,Tressel,Underwood, Youbody and Salley were all targets of your negative posts.

I see a trend there.

There's no misrepresention or mischaracterization about any of your football related posts and I'm not saying that just because I know your footbal iq is in the single digits.

Ask anyone that posts on these boards how you represent yourself when it comes to your Buckeye football opinions.

I'll start a thread to ask what everyone feels about your football posts.

I won't even ask about your political views, we all know how narrow minded you are concerning that.
