I imagine there's going to be plenty of dirty laundry aired in the upcoming weeks and months. He says it's because the Clippers were sold for $2 Billion.
I say it's because Donald Sterling is trying to figure out how many dead hookers this guy has in his closet.

This is now crossing into the "entertainment" area for me.
Thank God this circus may soon be over.
Donald Sterling loses court battle to prevent sale of Clippers
The sale of the team may be a "done deal", but unfortunately this could be another "Never Ending Story"...Sterling even looks like one of the characters in the movie:
His lawsuit against the NBA will go on forever. at least until he dies. Sterling is a lawyer and billionaire lawyers like him do not like to lose. and if they do they want to get even. He feels he was wronged (see his "manifesto" in Bucky32's post) and he definitely has the financial resources to take it all they way to the US Supreme Court on appeals. The sad thing is that he may actually have a good legal argument here, and if he lives long enough might just get a judgement against the NBA. And needless to say, anything is possible with the judicial/legal system we have in this country.
I think UCLA's concern was that Sterling would call back in a few weeks and demand his money back.I guess this is rather dated news, but I just heard about it today. Of all the idiotic PC things said and done over this entire mess, UCLA wins the grand prize.

That's right, too bad if you suffer from kidney disease. The university's leaders need to self-congratulate themselves for being sensitive to race and diversity is more important than any breakthroughs in medical research and treatment.
