Question for the group. Is or is not Pepper Johnson an assistant coach at IMG still? Haven't heard much from that angle. Perhaps not, as the IMG pipeline seems to be flowing Bama way, GA way, and Xichigan way, and not tOSU way....

Valid point. I put his home state in parenthesis. He’s originally from Brownsburg, IN. 3hrs from Columbus

I think he has legit OSU interest. He’s known LJsr since his frosh year when he camped at OSU, and being from a suburb of Indy helps as that region has benefited OSU a bunch

Jackson’s relationship with defensive line coach Larry Johnson started in the eighth grade, so Johnson is essentially “Uncle Larry” at this point and his resume speaks for itself. Columbus is only a two-hour drive from home in Brownsburg, Ind., so there’s no reason for the family to relocate to be a part of his collegiate experience. In recent years, the Buckeyes have quietly built a Polynesian presence on defense with Tommy Togiai, Haskell Garrett, Palaie Gaoteote, and 2022 breakout star JT Tuimoloau. Offensive lineman Enokk Vimahi, like Jayden, is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – that type of non-football connection matters. Ohio State is the nearby total package that will be tough to beat.
