  • Lt. Nick McGarry has been reassigned while the NYPD investigates the incident
  • The identity of the rookie female officer who danced on him is unknown
  • Rookie's father said his daughter was 'crying' over the ordeal, New York Post said
  • He also said he planned to sue McGarry over the incident, the Post said
  • She wore a miniskirt and thigh-high boots as she gyrated on his lap Thursday
  • The incident appears to have taken place at a holiday party for the 44th Precinct
  • McGarry is married and is living with his wife and kids in the suburbs
  • His wife, Melissa McGarry, angrily confronted a reporter near their home
  • 'F*** you!' she told the reporter outside her house in New Windsor, New York

The father of the rookie New York City police officer who was filmed giving a lap dance to her married lieutenant during a raunchy Christmas party says his daughter has been crying over the ordeal and that he plans on suing.

The angry dad made the comments on the same day that Lieutenant Nick McGarry's wife furiously confronted a New York Post reporter who approached the couple for comment outside their home in Orange County, New York, about 70 miles north of Manhattan.

The unnamed rookie's father told the Post on Monday that his daughter told him: 'Daddy, I made some mistake. I'm very embarrassed about what I did. I embarrassed you and my family.'

The father told the Post that his daughter is 'frustrated' over the incident.

'She cried and cried,' he said. 'She is young. She doesn't know how but he is married, the lieutenant. He should know better.

I am going to sue them.'

Meanwhile, there was further drama when the lieutenant and and his wife were approached by a reporter outside their home in Orange County, New York.

'F*** you!' Melissa McGarry told the Post reporter and a photographer outside the couple's home in New Windsor as she was restrained by her husband.

'It's not worth it, get back in the car,' the lieutenant told his fuming wife as she continued her rant.

Melissa McGarry told the press members: 'There are other things to worry about in this world!'

As the couple drove away, Melissa McGarry took her hands off the steering wheel and flipped the bird to the reporter with both hands, screaming: 'F*** you! F*** you! F*** you!'

According to her social media page, Melissa McGarry is a leasing assistant and resident events coordinator at Water Club Luxury Living, an apartment and condominium complex in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Phone calls to a number listed under her name went unanswered.

Her husband has reportedly been reassigned to a Transit unit after he was filmed receiving a lap dance from one of his underlings during a raucous holiday party.

The shocking video from the 44th Precinct's annual bash shows the rookie female officer in a checkered mini-skirt and knee-high boots grinding her backside on Nick McGarry's lap as he sits in a chair and holds onto her thighs in the middle of a bar.

In another video, she turns around to face McGarry and straddles the precinct commander as he grabs her by the waist. She then holds onto the lieutenant's head as she continues to gyrate on him.

Police brass wasted no time in disciplining McGarry, who has been with the NYPD since 2010, after the tawdry video surfaced from Thursday's $75 per-person party, which featured a DJ and open bar.

This isn’t exactly the first career altering Christmas party but solid contribution.

This isn’t exactly the first career altering Christmas party but solid contribution.

Nor is it the first career altering public lap dance at a bar this year:

Ten of 13 firefighters in small Illinois town walk off the job after convicted ARSONIST replaces fire chief
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10336715/Outrage-Illinois-town-votes-convicted-ARSONIST-new-fire-chief.html

    • A convicted arsonist was voted as an Illinois town fire chief, and a group of firefighters quit on the spot in disgust after his election on Monday
    • Ten of the department's 13 firefighters quit, with one throwing his fireman's equipment onto the board's table in protest
    • The outrage came after Assistant Chief Jerame Simmons was named chief of the Prairie Du Pont Volunteer Fire Department in Saint Clair County
    • The now 41-year-old fire chief was accused of setting fire to a vacant home and setting another, smaller fire, at Dupo High School back in 1999 at the age of 18
    • He ultimately served four years of probation and was later pardoned by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker
    • 'All of our houses could burn down!' one woman lashed out during Monday's meeting. 'I've never seen anything like this,' a retired firefighter told the board
    • Eight of ten resignations submitted a letter to the board Monday announcing that they were leaving their positions 'with regret and sorrow'
A firefighter in a small Illinois town threw his gear away in protest during a mass resignation after the town's board elected a a convicted arsonist as the fire chief.

Ten of the department's 13 firefighters quit Monday after Assistant Chief Jerame Simmons Sr. was elevated to chief of the Prairie Du Pont Volunteer Fire Department in Saint Clair County, according to Fox 2 Now.

Simmons, 41, pleaded guilty to arson more than 20 years ago when he was just 18.

Eight of the ten firefighters who quit submitted a resignation letter to the board Monday announcing that they were leaving their positions 'with regret and sorrow.'

In a video from the hotly-contested town board meeting, one of the fuming firefighters placed his helmet and fire-resistant jacket on the table before walking out.

'These people feel like they have absolutely no other option,' said ousted fire chief John Rosencranz of the departed firefighters.

In August, Rosenkranz said that the board held an 'unusual' meeting where they announced Simmons - the son of long-time director of the St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency Herb Simmons - would be appointed the department's acting assistant chief.

Rosenkranz said that he was not notified beforehand of the board's decision, despite spending upwards of 40 hours a week at the fire station while working full-time as a teamster.

Rosenkranz added that the safety of the community is now in greater peril with the loss of the majority of the fire department's volunteer staff.

'It's not important that I’m the chief or not the chief,' Rosenkranz said.

'It's about … making sure everything's taken care of.'

Residents of the town located about 17 miles east of St. Louis were also burning mad.

'All of our houses could burn down!' one woman lashed out during Monday's meeting after the ten firefighters quit.

This would be like making me the quality control moderator of the "college football" sub-forum.

Fan sues Giants and Jets, demands both teams leave N.J. and play home games in N.Y.

Although the both teams operate in and represent the greater New York metropolitan area, the fact that the New York Giantsand New York Jets play in East Rutherford, N.J. has been a point of contention for those whose pride resides on a certain side of the Hudson River.

So much so that a certain fan has been compelled to take legal action over the matter of what the territory of New York's NFL teams really is. According to a report by Larry McShane of the New York Daily News, a $6 billion lawsuit was filed in a Manhattan federal court in January that demands both the Giants and Jets abandon MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and return to playing in New York by 2025.

Court papers have also asked that both teams be rebranded as the East Rutherford Giants/Jets for as long as they play in the Garden State.

"If the Giants and Jets want to call themselves New York teams, they need to come back to New York," Plaintiff Abdiell Suero of Greenwich Village stated in court papers. "I've traveled to and from MetLife Stadium by mass transit and car service, and both ways are a nightmare."

The lawsuit seeks $2 billion in monetary damages and $4 billion in punitive damages, with legal claims against the two teams including false advertising and deceptive practices. The lawsuit claims that the plaintiff and the class, which includes all Giants and Jets fans that live in New York, have suffered "mental and emotional damage, including depression, sadness and anxiety ... as a result of the Defendants' conduct."

The Giants issued a statement in response to the lawsuit, declaring that "this case has no merit and we will defend it vigorously." The Jets have not commented on the matter yet.

The Giants have played in East Rutherford since 1976, when they moved across the Hudson River after playing their glory years at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The Jets became tenants with the Giants in N.J. in 1984 after playing at Shea Stadium in Queens.

Personally I'd sue them to ensure that that garbage never crosses the Hudson.

But that's just me:shrug:

At $800 / month, in a little over two years he could have paid for those repairs.

This _may_ be the best use of a Tesla I've ever seen... (read: not a fan):

A Tesla owner says he makes up to $800 a month mining cryptocurrency with his car. He says it's worth it, even though it could void his warranty.
