Isaiah Pead (official thread)

Between the 4 athletes, I like Pead and Mcguffie the most. Pead is more elusive where as it seems Mcguffie may be more athletic. What is comes down to is knowing what it means to be a buckeye, really wanting to be a buckeye, and with that on the line i'd take Pead any day of the week.

This kid is crazy good. For all this time, I have not watched his film because I thought he had no chance of getting an OSU offer. I thought his competition was probably no good but I don't even care anymore.

Anyone who has not watched his incredible film really should.

If we don't offer this kid I will be severely dissapointed. He is going to be a really good one.

I'll second that. Anyone interested ought to watch his Scouting Ohio video (I'm sure it's been linked on this thread at least once, but here's another one for the "lazys" on BP ). I had to pick my jaw off the floor after seeing the third play on that vid... he's really something.

If he can outplay Woods, Adams, and McGuffie at tOSU's camp (if they all choose to show up, that is), he should earn that offer he's been waiting for.

Two things Pead has that could get him an offer are speed and the hips to play CB at the Big 10 level. You can see from those highlights that he has the hips and the ability to change direction without losing speed. That could translate into a cover CB in an OSU jersey.
